Life with a big hairy dog

Today after work I decided to trim Jacks feet and do his nails. Well that led to some brushing out which then led to this photo:

Yeah and Im not done yet. The winter coat is trying to hang on. I had to pick most of it up afterwards so people wouldnt think Id murdered a small animal in my yard. Jenny thinks shedding is stupid by the way.

Since it was nice and cool out I decided to take Jack for a walk after his grooming session. He was NOT impressed that the Loyal Biscuit was closed. He even stood and whined at the door when I tried to walk by. I guess he doesnt mind his baths there if he still wants to visit! Maybe he knows I ordered him a new collar and is trying to make a pick up. (I cant wait to show it off.)

They are also bringing in a new line of collars and leashes that I absolutely LOVE. (To be announced by them soon I am sure.) This of course means I will be spending even more money on my dogs wardrobe in the future. ~sigh~ I guess there are worse things I could be buying though. What do YOU spend to much money on for your dogs?

Giant Dogs How Big It Can Get

A giant dog breed is any of many dog breeds whose height and weight put them at the largest end of all dog breeds. But how big it can get? There is no universal height or weight at which a breed is classified as a giant breed; any very large dogs fall into this category, although some groups define "giant breed" based on a certain height or weight, such as 100 pounds. Giant breeds grow rapidly, but take longer to mature into their full adult sizes than smaller dogs.

Well that is the series of Giant Dogs, How Big It Can Get?...

A BIG HUGE SHOUT OUT to Jeff Tim and SBC!

Talk about a positively reinforcing, rewarding, over-the-top kinda business meeting! Today Poncho and I took a little road-trip north (our favorite direction) to meet up with Amber - my trusty and oh-so-brilliant website designer/builder to finalize info on my brand new and improved website!!! EEEEKKKK! Were about to launch folks, to keep your eyes, ears, and web browsers open!

Anyway, since I had Ponchorinorama with me, Amber suggested we hit our local top-notch dog friendly fabulous restaurant The Summerland Beach Cafe! Jeff the owner was there - welcomed us with open arms, as did Tim (who is one rockin dog guy let me tell you...he was just loving Poncho the entire time...and Poncho was sending signals back too...what a good boy!) Jeff helped us out with the wireless internet system... Good job Jeff! And Tim helped the entire time just making sure we had everything we needed... including water and bowls for Poncho!

Emilia was just finishing up a conference call meeting at Lorries, but stopped by to say *hi* too - made sure we had all the up-to-date web and blog info she had sent earlier... Nellie, (Emilias great pooch who just graduated with honors from my Manners Class) was home with proper enrichment while she was blogging...

What a great team I have!!! Yes, I cant wait for the new site - But now Im gonna have to figure out how I can continue to be part of this great "dream team"!

I do know this: Inquisitive Canine meetings and other get-togethers will be held at SBC (Summerland Beach Cafe) whenever possible!
